Melissa A.
When Melissa was 5 years old, her grandmother took her to see her first symphony at Boettcher Hall. When the last note was played and the Colorado Symphony had exited the stage, she told her grandmother with certainty that one day, she would play on that stage. She started music theory and violin soon after that. Following violin, she learned piano, ukulele and voice. She owes a lot of gratitude to a high school teacher who inspired her to become the musician and teacher she is today. Proud to follow in the footsteps of her mentors, not only did she perform at Boettcher Hall as a senior in High School, she has gone on to teach many students how to be succesful in playing music.
