Esme W.
Esme began her musical journey studying violin for five years before transitioning to viola. She graduated from Denver School of the Arts as an orchestra major and later earned her Bachelor of Arts in Music from Lawrence University. Throughout her musical career, she has performed with several distinguished ensembles, including the Denver Young Artists Orchestra, the Colorado State Orchestra, and the Lawrence Symphony Orchestra. In addition to performing, Esme is passionate about giving back through music education; during the global pandemic she volunteered to start violin lessons at Telephone Elementary and assisted middle school orchestra students with their music. Outside of teaching and performing, she enjoys watching NCAA women’s gymnastics, following Dancing with the Stars, and going on walks. Esme loves teaching because it is incredibly rewarding to watch students grow in their skills and confidence, and she finds it especially meaningful to see their enthusiasm and progress with each new lesson
