Owen P.
Teacher Owen has been engaged in music since the age of eight, beginning with piano and expanding his experience to include singing, songwriting, and bass guitar. Over the years, he has performed in recitals, events, and competitions, and has participated in a range of ensembles including jazz band, rock groups, and worship teams. He has also competed at Colorado Christian University and Bob Jones University, and is comfortable working within a variety of musical styles. In addition to his musical background, he has experience as a private tutor in both math and piano. Outside of teaching, Owen enjoys staying active through rock climbing, hiking Colorado’s 14ers, and spending time outdoors with friends and family. As an instructor, Teacher Owen focuses on creating a positive and supportive learning environment where students can build confidence and develop a genuine interest in music. He aims to help students strengthen their skills while also fostering an enjoyment of piano that can carry beyond lessons. He recognizes that each student learns differently and works to tailor lessons to individual interests and goals, encouraging students to grow at their own pace and explore music in a way that feels meaningful to them.
